Hollywood movie "Transformers" emerges biggest blockbuster

Mumbai, July 13 (UNI) Hollywood movie 'Transformers' has garnered a record 155.8 million US dollars within six days of its release in the United States on July 3.

The film, which will be released in India on August 17, has set an all time record in the history of Hollywood films by breaking the 'Spiderman' record of 151.6 million US dollars in its launch week in 2002.

''Transformers'' will be released in India in English, Hindi, Tamil&Telugu.

The film, which released in 4,011 screens all over the US, became the first English film to gross the highest revenue in its 1st week run ever in the US.

Co-Produced by Paramount Pictures and Dream Works, ''Transformers'' stars Shia LaBeouf, Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel, Anthony Anderson, Megan Fox and Rachael Taylor. The film is directed by Michael Bay.
