HC grants anticipatory bail to Jaya TV shareholder

Madurai, July 13 (UNI) A mineral exporter and major shareholder of the television channel Jaya TV, S Vaigundarajan has been granted anticipatory bail by the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court.

Mr Justice G Rajasuria, granting anticipatory bail to Vaigundarajan and four others in an attempt murder case, directed the petitioners to stay in Chennai and report daily at the Egmore police station.

A case had been registered against the Tirunelveli-based industrialist and four others.
