Goods train dereails; Delhi-Ambala route affected

New Delhi, July 13 (UNI) Several long distance trains were today delayed and few of them diverted as the Delhi-Ambala route had to be closed for traffic following derailment of a goods train.

Restoration work is on and traffic will be normal by this evening, said Mr Rajiv Saksena, CPRO, Northern railway. There were no casualties or injuries to anyone, he added.

Few suburban trains have been cancelled following the derailment.
