Eight injured as bus to Kodaikanal overturns

Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, July 13 (UNI) Eight people, including four girl students, of a touring team from a school, were injured when the bus in which they were travelling overturned and fell into a gorge, at the Ghat Road to Kodaikanal, this morning.

Police said the bus carrying 60 students and a few staff members of the Islamia Matriculation School, Keezhakarai in Ramanathapuram district, were on a tour to the hill station when the accident occurred.

The injured, which included the school Principal, two teachers, the driver and the students, were rushed to a private hospital at Madurai.
