Call money rates ends low at 0.4-0.6 pc

Mumbai, July 13 (UNI) Call money rates remained unchanged from yesterday's rates and closed at 0.4-0.6 per cent today.

According to market watchers, market is flushed with funds worth Rs 60,000 crore which eased the call money rates.

Sufficent liquidity in the market with infusion of fresh funds kept the call rates steady throughout the week.

Dealers expect RBI intervention in coming week to tighten the liquidity in the system.

During the week, 91 day treausry bills worth Rs 1,500 crore was auctioned.

Intra bank rates in the call market also traded firmly throughout the week.
