Kerala: New admin for Pariyaram Medical College

Kannur, July 13: Cooperative Society Joint Registrar M Karunakaran today took over as the administrator of the Pariyaram Medical College in Kannur.

This followed the completion of tenure of the previous managing committee headed by former Minister M V Raghavan, yesterday.

The admission processes in the college, which is running on a loss of Rs 240 crore, would be managed by the administrator.

The Kerala High Court, earlier, had dismissed an appeal filed by Mr Raghavan to appoint a returing officer for conducting elections to the director board of the Kerala State Cooperative Hospital Complex and Centre for Advanced Medical Services Limited, which manages the college.
