TN, Pondy police meet

Puducherry, July 12 (UNI) In a bid to curb the menace of rowdies and robbers in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, senior police officals of the states held a joint meeting today.

According to police sources here, Tamil Nadu Zonal IG Radhakrishnan, Villuppuram DIG Vanniyaperumal, Puducherry DIG Vasudeva Rao, Cuddalore SP Prem Kumar, Villuppuram SP Periyaiah, Senior Superintendents of Police in Puducherry, Ms Chaya Sharma and B Srikanth and other senior police officials from both the states participated in the meeting held at a private hotel on the East Coast Road.

Files containing all details of rowdies,robbers,vehicle lifters from the respective areas and their modus operadi were exchanged in the meeting which resolved the police of both the states to function jointly to put an end to the menace.
