Three children killed; 9 injured in road accident

Dehradun, July 12 (UNI) Three school children died and 9 others were injured, three seriously, when the bus in which they were travelling dashed against a tree at Vikasnagar near Dehradun district of Uttarakhand today.

Police said the children sitting on the roof top of the private bus fell to the ground when their bus dashed against a tree.

Mahendra (16), Raju Pal (16) and Mursalin (18) died on the spot.

The three critically injured have been admitted in Dehradun Hospital and others are being treated at Vikasnagar Hospital.

The school children belonged to Timli village of Sahaspur area, police said.
