Scams galore in BJP regime in Chhattisgarh: Jogi
Raipur, July 12 (UNI) Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi today said the Raman Singh government in the state was 'insensitive' towards corruption and scandals.
''Many scams have come to light during the last three-and-a- half years but no action has been taken so far,''he said at a press conference here.
Replying to a question about the removal of senior tribal leader Nankiram Kanwar from the cabinet, Mr Jogi said it was an internal matter of the BJP.
''BJP cannot accept the leadership of tribals and the poor,'' Mr Jogi said senior tribal leader Nandkumar Sai was denied party ticket from his home constituency Tapkara and was forced to contest against him from Marwahi constituency in the December 2003 elections.
''This was done to ensure that Mr Sai, the seniormost tribal leader in BJP, could not stake claim for chief ministership,'' he added.
