RINL signs Rs 538 cr agreement with Italian firm

New Delhi, July 12: Rastriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL), the holding company of Vishakhapatnam Steel Plant, has entered into a Rs 538 crore agreement with Italy-based Danieli and C spa.

As per the deal, the company will supply, erect and commission continous casting machines for converting liquid steel into billets, a semi-finished product used for other rolling mills, a statement said.

The project is scheduled to be completed in a timeframe of 25 months, the statement added.
