Reliance's Navi Mumbai SEZ gets Govt nod
New Delhi, July 12: Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries'multi-product Special Economic Zone (SEZ) to be set up in 1,250hectares in Navi Mumbai is among the 21 SEZs which were approved by theCentral government today.
The Maharasthra government had already cleared the Navi Mumbai SEZ (NMSEZ) to be set up at Dronagiri in Navi Mumbai.
The long-awaited nod to Navi Mumbai SEZ was granted by the boardof approval (BoA) of SEZs which met here today, an officialannouncement said.
The BoA, which took up 39 SEZs applications, including 8 forconversion of in-principle approvals to formal approvals, also granted6 in-principle approvals.
