Rains in parts of AP

Hyderabad, July 12 (UNI) Rain occurred at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and was isolated in Rayalaseema region in the last 24 hrs.

The Weather office today said light to moderate rain or thundershowers were likely at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh in the next 48 hrs.

Isolated rain or thundershowers were likely over Telangana and Rayalaseema during the period.

Hyderabad city would have generally cloudy skies.

Eluru and Peddapuram recorded the highest rainfall of 4 cm each, followed by Amalapuram, Rajahmundry, Gudur, Kaleswaram, Nizamsagar, Perur and Puttur 3 cm each, Dummagudem, Koida, Kunavaram, Koyyalagudem, Ramannapet and Srisailam 2 cm each and Nalgonda, Tuni, Atchampet, Piduguralla, Sattenapally, Bhimadole, Polavaram, Tadepalligudem, Tanuku, Dowlaiswaram, Kaikalur, Kandukur, Mancherial, Satyavedu and Sullurpet one cm each.
