Pyramid Saimira registers Rs 122 crore turnover in Q1

Chennai, July 12 (UNI) Pyramid Saimira Theatre Limited has registered an impressive turnover of Rs 122 crore, for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The turnover in the previous fiscal (FY 2006-07) was Rs 164.31 crore, a company release said today.

The net profit after tax was Rs 16 crore for the first quarter of 2007-08 as against a PAT of Rs 13.4 crore for the previous fiscal 2006 -07.

The releasesaid 106 new screens in this quarter, taking the total number of screens to 371 nationally.

The annualised earnings per share surged to Rs 22.64 from Rs 4.75 (FY 06-07), the release added.
