Pramod Mahajan murder case trial adjourned till July 17

Mumbai, July 12 (UNI) The trial in the Pramod Mahajan murder case has been adjourned till July 17 following defence advocate H H Ponda's plea to the court.

Additional session judge S P Davare, who is presiding over the trial, granted permission and adjourned the matter till July 17.

Trial proceedings were adjourned on three occasions earlier, owing to the transfer of Judge Davare to the special NDPS court.

Principal Judge Ashok Bhangale has reassigned judge Davare to conduct the trial in the Pramod Mahajan murder case.

The court has already examined prime witness Ms Rekha Mahajan, widow of Pramod Mahajan, and BJP leader Gopinath Munde, as well as three other ''panch'' witnesses.
