One killed in accidental firing

Bijapur, July 12 (UNI) One person was killed in an accidental firing incident today at Kadlewad village in Bijapore district.

Police said the mishap occurred when one Girimala Hulli was practicing loading of cartridges into his gun and accidentally pressed the trigger.

The bullet pierced the stomach of Shankareppa sitting in front of him. He died while being rushed to a hospital.
