Noor Bano for more serious party workers in J'khand

Ranchi, Jul 12 (UNI) Congress Working Committee member Noor Bano today asked party's state president to issue show cause to those who had absented themselves at a party meeting here.

The meeting was held at the party's office, chaired by President Pradep Kumar Balmuchu, to review the implementation of various directions given by state party units which included formation of panchayat and block committes besides election of respective presidents.

Begum Bano observed that only about 50 per cent of the delegates were present at the meeting and added that it must be found out whether the concerned block level presidents were taking interest in party's activities.

All India Congress Working Committe memeber Harikesh Bahadur, who was also present at the meeting, stressed the need for strengthening the party at the grass roots level.
