No knowledge of phone-tapping: Advani

Pune, July 12 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha L K Advani today denied that he had any knowledge of phone-tapping by the UPA government of its opponents.

Talking to mediapersons here, Mr Advani said he learnt about the phone tapping issue from the media.

The senior BJP leader said he had still to ask for details from his party colleague Sushma Swaraj.

''This does not mean that it is not happening. I have maintained to partymen that 'Sambhal ke chalo', even the Intelligence Bureau (IB) should not know our strategy for the Presidential poll,'' he said in a lighter vein.
