Most places in Kerala get rain
Thiruvananthapuram, July 12 (UNI) Rain occurred at most places in Kerala while Lakshadweep experienced light showers during the last 24 hours.
The local Met office reported a rainfall of 11 cm in Mankombu Perumedu, eight cm in Vadakara, seven each in Koyilandy and Mavelikara.
Nilambur, Kozhikode, Karipur airport, Chengannur, Chalakkudy received a rainfall of five cm each while Perumbavoor and Kochi International Airport received four cm each.
Rain will occur at most place in Kerala and isolated places in Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours.
Strong onshore winds from westerly direction with 45 to 55 kmph is likely along the Kerala coast and over Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours.
