High Court hears land issue involving CM
Hyderabad, July 12 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh High Court today adjourned to July 16, the hearing on a petition filed by senior TDP leader P Ashok Gajapatiraju, seeking prosecution of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy for alleged violation of various land laws in respect of acquisition of assigned land in his native Kadapa district.
After a brief hearing, Chief Justice G S Sighvi who headed division bench comprising Mr Justice C V Nagarjuna Reddy expressed the view that some of the statements attribuuted to Dr Rajasekhara Reddy were not properly translated.
It would be better that the court watch compact discs(CDs) given by the petitioner's counsel to understand the dispute in proper perspective, the bench said.
The counsel for the petitioner agreed for the same.
The bench will hear the case on Monday after viewing the CDs.
