HC grants interim bail to BHEL officer
New Delhi, July 12 (UNI) Delhi High court today granted interim bail to Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) manager Nagendra Singh, charged in a rape case.
Hearing the arguments of petitioner's counsel Mahavir Sharma, Justice Ravindra Bhat granted singh interim bail till August 29 against a bond of Rs 30,000.
Nagendra Singh was accused of raping his maid servant Jayanti Kisku who is allegedly bearing a child of the petitioner.
Pleading innocent, the BHEL official has volunteered to find a DNA test of the child.
