Govt to distribute free mosquito nets in villages

Bangalore, July 12 (UNI) Karnataka Health Minister R Ashok today said the state government was planning to distribute free mosquito nets to villages following recurrence of Malaria.

Replying to a question by Mr Jayaprakash Hegde (Ind) in the Legislative Assembly, Mr Ashok said the government was already on the job of identifying such regions which are affecred hit by malaria.

He said the state government has started the scheme of distributing the medicated nets to Shirahatti which has been hit by Malaria for years.
