Four Maoists remanded to police custody
Purulia, July 12 (UNI) Four suspected Maoists, arrested from a school at Dhanudi village in Bagmundi of Purulia, were today remanded to police custody till July 14.
The four rebels, arrested from the school this morning, were produced in the district court when Chief Judicial Magistrate Sandip Karmakar sent them to police remand.
Police suspected that they were planning for an operation in and around the bordering areas.
A young tribal girl, arrested from Simandih village on July 4, was yesterday remanded to judicial custody till July 16.
