Father accused of molesting daughters

Barrackpore, July 12 (UNI): Police today registered an FIR against a father, resident of Bardhanpara in Nimta, for allegedly molesting his two daughters.

A large number of villagers along with the victims and their mother had gheraoed the Nimta police station to lodge a complain after some hassle over refusal to take down diary report.

According to FIR, both the daughters were allegedly molested by Khokan Mallick for some months. After coming to know from her daughters, the mother sought helf of her neighbours, who took the father to police station for criminal offence.

Police sent the girls to a local hospital for medical examination.
