Deshmukh criticises BJP for mudslinging campaign

Mumbai, Jul 12 (UNI) Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh today criticised BJP for their ''mudslinging campaign'' against UPA's presidential candidate Pratibha Patil In a release issued here, Mr Deshmukh said BJP has started mudslinging after they realised that their candidiate Bhairon Singh Shekhawat is going to be defeated.

Infact, congress has honoured all the women in India by giving the candidature to Ms Patil, who had a good political track record of handling various important posts.

Mr Deshmukh expressed optimism that Ms Patil would win by a thumping majority.
