Centre sanctions Rs 1.23 crore grant in aid to HP
Shimla, July 12 (UNI) The Centre today sanctioned an amount of Rs 1.23 crore to 11 District Rural Development Agencies (DRDAs) of Himachal Pradesh as balance payment of its share for this financial year, an official spokesman said.
Kangra district received the largest amount of Rs 13.87 lakh followed by Rs 12.17 lakh to Sirmaur, and Rs 12.16 lakh each to Chamba, Hamirpur, Mandi and Shimla, he said in a release here.
The spokesman said Bilaspur, Kinnaur, Kullu, Solan and Una received Rs 9.81 lakh each from the Union Ministry of Rural Development.
The funding pattern under the scheme is in the ration of 75:25 between the Centre and the state, he added.
