Call money ends at 0.4-0.6 pc

Mumbai July 12 (UNI) Call money rates today closed at 0.4-0.6 per cent compared to the previous close of 0.50 per cent.

During the day, it touched a high of 0.6 per cent and a low of 0.4 per cent.

According to dealers, the market is flushed with funds in excess of 60,000 crore, which has eased the call money.

Dealers expect measures from Reserve Bank this week to tighten the liquidity in the market.

There was auction of 91 day treasury bills worth Rs 1,500 crore yesterday. Intra-bank rates traded firm during the day.
