Ambala accident toll rises to 11

Chandigarh, July 12 (UNI) The death toll in yesterday's maxi cab accident in Ambala district of Haryana went up to 11, with one more person succumbing to injuries at PGI hospital here today.

Ten people were killed and 16 injured when a maxi cab, carrying 26 people, rammed into a tree near Dera village on the Kala Amb-Naraingarh road yesterday.

Seven seriously injured people were shifted to the PGI. One of them, identified as Anil Jain, succumbed to his injuries today.

Hospital sources said the condition of the remaining six injured was still critical.
