Allahabad Bank ties up with Franklin Templeton
New Delhi, July 12 (UNI) Allahabad Bank, a leading public sector bank, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Franklin Templeton Investments (India), one of the largest fund houses in the country, for the distribution of mutual fund products through its branches.
The MoU was signed in Kolkata between Mr Vivek Kudva,President- Franklin Templeton India, and Mr A C Mahajan, Chairman and Managing Director, Allahabad Bank.
Mr Mahajan said the distribution of the mutual fund products will make a significant contribution to Bank's fee-based income.
Mr Kudva said the MoU will enable Franklin Templeton to expand its customer base, a release said here.
