Woman gives birth in bus

Indore, July 11 (UNI) A woman gave birth on board a city bus after vehicles were halted to make way for VIPs who attended a BJP Abhyas Varg -- for training BJP MPs and MLAs from Madhya Pradesh -- that concluded here today.

The woman, her husband and three children started from Panchvati locality yesterday afternoon on Bus Number 514. Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha L K Advani was in town to inaugurate the Abhyas Varg.

The delivery, which was confirmed by City Transport Company Chief Executive Chandramouli Shukla, was assisted by the husband and another woman. The mother was later rushed to hospital in an auto.
