Warm, humid weather returns to Delhi after two cool days

New Delhi, July 11 (UNI) After two days of cool weather in Delhi, brought about by light rains on Monday warm and humid weather conditions today returned to the Capital city with the mercury shooting up to 37.6 Degree Celsius, two degrees above normal.

The bright sunlight, coupled with the high humidity level of 85 per cent, left Delhiites sweltering and led to a rise in maximum temperature, from 34.5 Degree C yesterday to 37.6 Degree C Rains continued to elude Delhi, after a short burst of light rains on Monday.

Earlier, Delhiites woke up to a sunny morning with the minimum temperature rising to 27.6 Degree Celsius, one degree above normal.

The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with the possibility of thundery development in a few areas.
