Uday Sareen, Retail Banking head of Vysya Bank

Bangalore, July 11: Private sector ING Vysya Bank today announcedthe appointment of Mr Uday Sareen as its Country Head (Retail Banking)and a member of the Executive Management Committee.

The appointment was with immediate effect and he would bereporting to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of theBank Vaughn Richtor and would be based out of Bangalore, according to arelease here.

Prior to joining ING, Mr Sareen, was a senior member of the globalconsumer group of Citibank. He was part of a team that built the retailbrand in the country. His experiences encompass branch banking, wealthmanagement, product management, operations, sales and distribution.

Uday's most recent position with Citibank was that of Senior Vice President&Head Branch Banking&Wealth Management.

Mr Richtor said, "Uday brings to the table over a decade of richretail banking experience and we look forward to an accelerated growthplan in the retail banking segment under his leadership".

ING Vysya Bank has a retail-banking network comprising 400branches, 40 extension counters, 28 satellite offices and 170 ATMsconnected to the core banking solution.
