TN to organise campaign on Genetic Engineering from Aug 6

Chennai, July 11 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Government in association with Centres for Biotechnology, Anna University, IIT Madras, Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University and the Department of Biochemistry, University of Madras today proposed to organise a seven-day awareness campaign from August six on Genetic Engineering for the benefit of graduates, research scholars and faculty members.

A release from the Secretariat said the programme will cover Principles of Genetic Engineering and Agriculture, role of Genetic Engineering in Industrial Biotechnology, role of Genetic Engineering in Animal Science, Bio Informatics, Future Perspectives in Genetic Engineering, Web Resources, among others.
