SR announces special train on Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil sector

Chennai, July 11 (UNI) The Southern Railways (SR) today announced special trains in Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil sector to clear extra rush of passengers.

A SR release said the special would leave Chennai Egmore at 2015 hrs on July 15 and arrive Nagercoil at 1100 hrs, the next day.

In return, the special would leave Nagercoil at 1330 hrs on July 16 and arrive here at 0430 hrs, the next day.

Advance reservation for the above trains would commence tomorrow, the release added.

Meanwhile, the Chennai Central-Mangalore tri-weekly Express scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 17.00 hrs today would leave Chennai Central only at 19.30 hrs today due to operational reasons.
