Sidhu has narrow escape in road accident

Sonipat, July 11 (UNI) Cricketer-turned- politician Navjot Singh Sidhu had a narrow escape today when his car met with an accident near Kundli in this district.

Police said Sidhu's car was hit by another car near Nathupur village on the Ambala-Delhi highway when he was coming from Amritsar to Delhi.

The BJP MP, however, escaped with minor scratches. His driver Balkar Singh also received minor injury, police said.

Sidhu later left for Delhi in another car, police said.
