Seven killed, 23 injured in bus accident

Villupuram (Tamil Nadu), July 11: Seven people were killed and 23 others injured when two state Government buses collided head on near Ullunthurpet in this districrt early this morning.

The accident occurred when a Government bus coming from Coimbatore to Chennai and another bus from Chennai to Erode dashed against each other.

The victims included drivers of the two buses and passengers including a woman.

The injured were admitted to Government hospital at Ullunthurpet.
