No rain in Kolkata, mercury up

Kolkata, July 11 (UNI) The weather in Kolkata today turned a bit uncomfortable with no rainfall, and mercury soaring up.

According to the Met office, the maximum temperature was 35.4 degrees Celsius, while that of the minimum was 28.1 degrees Celsius.

Maximum relative humidity was 92 per cent and the minimum was 55 per cent, said the Alipore Weather Department.

The Met office further predicted a partly cloudy sky with possibility of light rain or thunder showers in some areas.
