Twenty-three-year bridegroom Iqbal of Pattan village in Haryana came on a helicopter seeking the hand of his bride Ruksana.

Iqbal's marriage was arranged with Ruksana daughter of Shamsher, a farmer of Jajore Bass village in Alwar today. But the bridegroom insisted on flying in a helicopter to the marriage venue than going in a car. Finally the family of bridegroom hired a helicopter from a private company in Delhi.

The 'baratis' reached the marriage venue by road.

A large number of onlookers gathered at the helipad as the helicopter landed in the village to see the 'high-flying' bridegroom.

Mewat Vikas Board president and former minister Nehru Khan was also present in the marriage.
