Ganja worth Rs 6 lakh seized, 4 held

Gorakhpur, July 11 (UNI) Police here today arrested four people and seized 196 kg ganja, worth Rs six lakh.

Acting on a tip-off, custom department officials intercepted a a truck on the Kushinagar-Gorakhpur National Highway near Kusmahi jungles and nabbed four persons possessing 196 kg ganja estimated to be of Rs 6 lakh in the international market, sources said.

The accused were identified as Rajkumar Pal, Khalasi Ali Hassan, Alimuddin and Hafijur Rehman.
