Close kin of CBI director found dead in South Delhi residence
New Delhi, July 11 (UNI) A retired engineer and a close kin of CBI director Vijay Shankar was allegedly found murdered at his Sainik Farm residence in South Delhi this afternoon.
K D Tripathi (67), brother-in-law of the CBI chief, was found on his bed by one of his relatives at about 1500 hrs, said sources.
''His neck was slashed and the gate found open.'' The relative later told the police that he was trying to contact him since morning on phone but after getting no response he came to check what had happened.
Tripathi, who lived alone at his 'S-55 Sainik Farms' bungalow is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son, who live abroad.
