Building owned by SP MP Atiq Ahmad's aide razed

Allahabad, July 11 (UNI) The Allahabad Development Authority (ADA) today razed two stories of J K Palace in the busy Civil Lines area here today.

J K Palace owner Jameel Khan is close to contoversial Samajwadi Party MP Atiq Ahmad. Atiq is the prime accused in the murder of BSP MLA Raju Pal, whose wife Puja Pal is the sitting party legislator.

Talking to reporters, ADA senior engineer S K Arora said the action followed the district administration order to raze all illegal constructions in the city.

The ADA had marked two upper floors of the J K Palace as illegal and bulldozed it this morning with the help of local police.

Recently, the ADA had razed another building owned by Atiq in Civil Lines area.
