Bhopal school to revive guru-shishya tradition

Bhopal, July 11: This City of Lakes plans to script history by reviving the age-old guru-shishya tradition on July 20 at the Campion School when alumni from the world over will congregate to pay tributes to Founder Principal Father E F More (July 20, 1907-August 13, 1988) on his birth centenary.

The programme, which will get underway at 1000 hrs, will include an All Faiths Prayer, release of the Centenary Tribute Book, school band instruments display, school time photograph display, Fr More photograph display, Centenary T-shirts on sale and a batch-wise city-wise Alumni Directory.

''It will be an opportunity to pay tributes to the great soul who taught us everything. A Centenary Campfire Dinner will be hosted on July 21 in the School Quadrangle from 1930 hrs,'' said Mr Ashok Anand (Class of '74).
