Two new variants of Logan launched

Kolkata, Jul 10: Mahindra Renault today unveiled two new variants of the Logan within the existing range to enhance the value proposition for the customer.

The new models-1.6 GLX (petrol) and 1.5 dCi DLX (diesel) are priced at Rs 5.47 lakh and Rs 6.23 lakh respectively, ex-showroom Kolkata.

These variants have been positioned in-between the GLE/DLE and GLS/DLS variants of the region.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahindra Renault Private Ltd Managing Director Rajesh Jejurikar said, ''The new variants of the Logan will raise the bar further in the mid-size segment of the Indian car market. They offer great value to the aspirational buyer who wants more features at a keen price.'' Mr Nalin Mehta, Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) Mahindra Renault Private Ltd, said, ''The Logan's performance in just 40 per cent of the markets has exceeded our expectations. The new variants are being added to complete the product line of the Logan.

''The GLX and DLX models were designed to suit specific customer demands. This clearly highlights Mahindra Renault's customer centric approach,'' Mr Mehta said.

He informed that almost 450,000 Logans have been sold worldwide since it was launched in 2004.
