Tempo mows down 3 in Anand village

Anand, Jul 10 (UNI) In a freak accident, three persons were killed and five others injured when a tempo today ran over people, gathered at Virsad town on Dharmaj-Khambhat road, 30 km from here.

A truck was stuck in marshy ground and a crane was lifting the truck when curious villagers of Virsad gathered to watch the happening.

The driver of a speeding tempo lost control over the vehicle and mowed down the onlookers. Three died on the spot and five have been rushed to Karamsad hospital.
