Shasun Chemicals signs licensing agreement with Lundbeck

Mumbai, July 10 (UNI) Shasun Chemicals and Drugs Limited has signed a technology licensing agreement with a Danish pharmaceutical industry H Lundbeck for providing cross-coupling technology.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Company's UK-based subsidiary Shasun Pharma Solution granted its proprietary cross-coupling technology, also known as Buchwald technology, to H Lundbeck to manufacture and commercialize new Active Pharmaceutical Ingradients (APIs), the Company said here today in a statement.

Lundbeck, an international pharmaceutical company engaged in the research and development, production, marketing and sales of the drugs for treatment of Central Nervous System (CNS) disorders, with the access of the Buchwald technology will speed up the development of new drugs while reducing the manufacturig cost, the statement added.
