Pratibha Patil to visit Bhopal tomorrow

Bhopal, July 10 (UNI) United Progressive Alliance's presidential candidate Pratibha Patil would arrive in the state capital tomorrow along with three union ministers and senior Congress leaders in order to garner support for her.

Ms Patil would be accompanied by Union HRD Minister Arjun Singh, Union Minister of State (MoS) for Personnel and Parliamentary Affairs Suresh Pachhori and Union MoS in the Prime Minister's office Prithviraj Chouhan besides party's Madhya Pradesh incharge General Secretary V Narayansami.

Madhya Pradesh Assembly Opposition leader Jamuna Devi and state Congress President Subhash Yadav today took stock of arrangements and inspected the venue at a city hotel in view of Ms Patil's visit.

Ms Patil would take part in a meeting of Congress legislators tomorrow morning.

CPI(M), Nationalist Congress Party, BSP and independent MLAs will participate in the meeting.

State Congress Spokesperson Manak Agarwal said party's observer of presidential election, Mr Raju Bhai Parmar, Congress secretary Arun Kumar and party spokesperson Satyavrat Chaturvedi were also arriving Bhopal.

Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh, Union MoS for Agriculture Kantilal Bhuria and MP Jyotirdatiya Scindhia will also be present.

After addressing the MLAs, Ms Patil would leave for Jaipur in the afternoon.
