Pratibha Patil campaigns in Jharkhand
Ranchi, July 10 (UNI) UPA Presidential candidate, Ms Pratibha Patil, today appealed to the MLAs and the MPs of the UPA allies in Jharkhand to support her candidature in the July 19 poll.
Ms Patil, who arrived here by special flight from Patna as part of her country-wide campaign, held a meeting with the MPs and the MLAs of the UPA allies in a private hotel here.
Chief Minister Madhu Koda, Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, Union Minster of State for Food Processing Subodh Kant Sahai, Congress spokeswoman Jayanti Natrajan, and others were also present.
"Despite the frustrated designs of the NDA, on July 19, the flag of Secularism would fly high," Mr Prasad qurpped at the meet.
