Police impounds 126 blueline buses in Delhi today

New Delhi, July 10 (UNI) Cracking the whip on errant bus drivers, police today impounded 126 Blueline buses and imposed fines on as many as 604 bus drivers.

Police said in the wake of the recent spate of fatal accidents in Delhi, it had launched the drive.

Since January, as many as 6778 buses, including 6108 Blueline, buses have been impounded so far.

Of the total, 814 Blueline buses were impounded in July alone.
