Oppn Congress walks out of Karnataka assembly

Bangalore, July 10 (UNI) Opposition Congress today staged a walk out in the Legislative Assembly protesting against the government's deliberate attempt to delay in conducting the polls to the Bangalore Mahanagar Palike.

Replying to a query by Mr Ramalinga Reddy (Congress), Chief Minister H D Kumarswamy said that the process of reservation and delimitation of the constituencies was still in progress and it would submit the report to the Election office.

He said that it was the work of the Election office to fix the date for holding of elections and the his party Janata Dal (S) was ready to face the elections whenever they were declared.

The Congress led by Leader of Opposition N Dharam Singh staged a walk out along with Vatal Nagaraj (Vatal Kannada Cheluvali Paksha) not being satisfied by the reply given by the Chief Minister.
