NABARD to fund 6 projects under TDF at Rs 18.63 cr
Mumbai, July 10 (UNI) National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) will fund six projects at a financial outlay of Rs 18.63 crore under its Tribal Development Fund (TDF).
This will benefit nearly 6000 poor tribal families in the states of Rajasthan, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Orissa, NABARD said in a statement today.
Having a corpus of Rs 219 crore, TDF was set up in 2004 with a greater focus on tribal progress.
The programmes include livelihood support for landless, health, women development and capacity building for the poorer sections.
The projects will be implemented through NGOs operating in tribal areas, said NABARD.
