Karan Singh to be PM's Spl Envoy at Hindi Conf

New Delhi, July 10: Dr Karan Singh, MP and ICCR President, has been designated as the Prime Minister's Special Envoy for the 8th World Hindi Conference, being held in New York over July 13-15.

During his visit, Dr Singh will deliver the valedictory address and present awards to eminent scholars from India and abroad.

A renowned Hindi and Sanskrit scholar, Dr Singh had also led the Indian delegation to the Second World Hindi Conference in Mauritius in 1976.
